Air deflector panel for directing airflow.
The MX air deflector panel is installed at the eaves of the roof structure to direct airflow away from the roof insulation. The air deflector guides the airflow along the upper chord, preventing changes in the thermal insulation’s effectiveness due to air currents. Directed airflows also help dry any condensation moisture from the underside of the underlayment.
The MX air deflector panel is installed between the rafters by bending the edges of the panel at a 90-degree angle and fastening it to the rafter with staples or nails. The panel is pre-scored at the edges, making the bending process easy.
