Breathable underlay that meets RIL requirements.
MX-Varma breathable underlay is water- and windproof but allows vapor to pass through. The waterproof top layer safely directs leakage water away, while the breathable structure allows moisture from below to evaporate out of the structures. MX-Varma is made of a nonwoven fabric coated with polypropylene on both sides.
MX-Varma can be installed directly on top of the thermal insulation. This way, the roof insulation can be installed to its full thickness without the need for a ventilation gap required by traditional underlays. This also allows for the most efficient use of attic space.
The breathable MX-Varma is lightweight and easy to handle. It offers excellent protection during construction against water, snow, and dust.
