Tube pontoons for constructing floating docks and structures.

Meltex dock pontoons are a reliable solution for floating docks. The pontoons are made of high-quality HDPE plastic, making Meltex dock pontoons lightweight and weather-resistant. The pontoons are impact-resistant, withstand freezing temperatures, and do not absorb water. Meltex dock pontoons can endure freezing, but ice movement can be a very strong erosive force, so the safest way to ensure the dock remains intact is to lift it onto dry land for winter storage.

Plastic pontoons do not decay or rust. With tube pontoons, the dock can be stable relative to the buoyancy of the pontoons, as a properly installed round pontoon maintains buoyancy evenly even when tilting.

The tube pontoons are attached to the dock using hot-dip galvanized steel clamps. To make the dock as stable and steady as possible, the tube pontoons should be installed lengthwise and as close to the outer edges of the dock as possible.

Due to thermal expansion, it is advisable to order the pontoon 50 mm shorter than the maximum length of the installation site.
