40×2.4 mm PE geothermal pipe. The fitting is suitable for various geothermal systems and borehole piping systems.
The plastic pipe fitting is a so-called PEX fitting, ensuring that the thin-walled pipe does not get bite marks from the compression ring.
If the fitting is re-insulated, it must be protected from the insulation material, for example, with tape or similar, so that the fitting does not come into contact with the insulation. Insulation materials may contain ammonia and/or other corrosive substances that could be harmful to brass.
