Ground source heat pipe for heat collection circuits in ground source heat systems.

The polyethylene (PE) used in Meltex ground source heat pipes is corrosion-free and highly resistant to wear and impacts. The Meltex ground source heat pipe is non-toxic, easy to weld, and lightweight and flexible to handle. The heat pipe is equipped with a thinner wall than a drinking water pipe, allowing it to collect heat from the ground more efficiently. The pipe can also be submerged, for example, on the bottom of a lake as a collection circuit.

A system made of PE pipes is long-lasting, cost-effective, and maintenance-free.

Ground source heat pipes are manufactured according to Finnish standards, and their pressure class is PN8. Coil sizes are available depending on the pipe diameter, ranging from 100 to 500 m. We also supply large coils upon request.
