Surface switch for determining liquid level, for example, in pits and pumping stations.
The MX float is an adjustable device suspended by its cable that keeps the liquid level in pits and pumping stations at the desired height. A single surface switch can be used to set both high and low level alarms.
The surface switch consists of a freely floating switch component and a multi-core cable attached to it. Thanks to the lead weight attached to the cable, the cable remains submerged in the liquid, allowing the switch to tilt steadily in response to changes in liquid level. Adjusting the surface switch is easily done by changing the cable length and moving the lead weight.
