The Meltex HEK sand separator pit is designed to prevent the ingress of sand, sludge, and other solid materials into the drainage system.

Meltex HEK sand separator pits are suitable for use in garages, parking areas, and other similar applications as part of an oil and sand separation system. The sand separator pit can conveniently be converted into a floor drain with a water trap by removing the plug from the outlet corner and turning it downwards.

The sand separator pit features a frame size of 660 x 880mm (HEK 120) or 960 x 880mm (HEK 200), equipped with a D400 load class cast iron lid and a 120- or 200- liter sedimentation basin. The pit has one 110mm outlet connection.
