The underlayment bracket raises the edges of the underlayment at the penetration point. This unique solution for roof and fire hatches significantly speeds up installation, as sealing the underlayment does not require taping or caulking. The underlayment bracket consists of a single plastic piece, making it ready for use right out of the package. With the MX roof hatch’s underlayment bracket, condensate water flowing along the underlayment is prevented from entering the insulation in the roof space through the hole.
