The MX roof ventilator 180E/160 is an upward-blowing, efficient, and tight ventilator with low pressure drop for building ventilation. The ventilator fits a 160 mm ventilation duct and is used for separate exhausts, such as for cooktops, garages, or bathrooms. Thanks to its streamlined design, numerous color options, and hidden wiring in the frame, a tight, safe, and stylish finish is achieved.
Using the MX roof ventilator reduces noise disturbances inside the home, as the exhaust ventilation motor is located on the roof. To prevent freezing, we recommend continuous operation of the roof and radon ventilators, at least at low power. The rotational speed can be adjusted by changing the voltage using a thyristor or a transformer. Energy costs can be reduced by selecting the appropriate power class, avoiding the use of an oversized motor and unnecessary cooling of the building.
In addition to the roof ventilator, a flashing that is selected according to the roofing material is required.
