Ventilation post for ventilation of crawl spaces and understructures, as well as for supply air.

The MX ventilation post is versatile and can be used for various purposes, such as ventilating crawl spaces, taking in supply air, and as part of a radon ventilation system. With its color options and design, the ventilation of the crawl space can be achieved without compromising the style of the building’s facade. The structure of the post also prevents debris, snow, and small animals from entering the building’s crawl space.

The MX ventilation post has low pressure loss, resulting in better air exchange. The cross-sectional area of the post is over 150 cm³ throughout, meeting the building regulations’ requirements for the minimum size of ventilation openings. When ventilating crawl spaces, it is important to consider the shape, location, and structural factors of the building that affect airflow. The requirements for the total area and placement of ventilation openings in crawl spaces can be found in section C2 of the Finnish Building Regulations.

The height of the ventilation post is 1030 mm, which can be increased with an available 330 mm extension.
